Yesterday and today I've been trying to clean out and straighten up my work room as I have rearranged the computer room and found stuff I can take to the thrift store. Among the mess in my work room, I found several shoeboxes filled with the samples and kits I had made last year when a group was to come to my house to make cards. They never came and I forgot about the kits so I made up some of them today.
I have several more kits to make cards from (five or six cards in each set)for the rest of next week which will put me way ahead with the greeting cards I will need in the coming months.

Stampin' Up Challenge
This Sunday, Donna and Emily are having an Open House with some 'make and takes'. They have challenged us to bring a card using Stampin' Up supplies to this event for a contest. My two cards are shown below. The cardstock is from the In Color line; I used Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, and Crushed Curry. The printed papers are from the same color group in the double-sided Designer Series group. The organza ribbon is no longer available from Stampin' Up but can be purchased at craft stores. The stamp is from "Merci" and I used Marvy glitter gel pens to outline the design after stamping with black ink.

Christmas 2009 Scrapbook Update
In August, I attended a Christmas Album workshop hosted by Donna and Emily to make a 6-inch by 6-inch Christmas album. I made one for each son and his family, then decided to make one for myself. Here are some of the pages from my sons' albums. Notice that I used the pages I made at the workshop as part of 8-inch by 8-inch pages.
